Put more police officers on the street

House bill 1380 would create funding options for local law enforcement agencies to employ more police officers.
Rep. Jacquelin Maycumber, R-Republic, talks about her legislation (HB 1415) that would fix the state Supreme Court’s “Blake Decision” that decriminalized drug possession and use in Washington state. Her bill would make drug use illegal again and get addicts and those in mental health crisis access to the services they need, while stopping hard drug use outside of schools and in our communities.
