• Establishes a Parents’ Bill of Rights relating to their children’s public-school education and affirms that parents are the primary stakeholders in their children’s upbringing.
• At a time when many families have left the public education system following the pandemic, this initiative builds trust with parents and schools through more transparency.
• Parents must have the right to access records relating to their child, as well as the instructional materials used in the classroom.
