Reps. Smith and Hayes to hold 10th District town halls
“We are at a very critical part of the 2013 legislative session, it is important we hear from the people we represent to discuss the issues before us in the Legislature,” said Smith, R-Clinton. “We have significant decisions to make regarding our transportation system, funding education, government reforms and certainly the budget. Input I receive from my constituents inform my decisions in Olympia, and I look forward to the opportunity to answer questions, and hear their concerns.”
Hayes, R-Camano Island, will be participating in his first town halls as a newly elected Representative for the 10th District.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting with families in my community. I know full well that people are struggling to make ends meet now and now more than ever I want to hear their ideas regarding the services the state provides and I aim to ensure that those services are provided within our existing means,” said Hayes.
