Twenty-eighth District Sen. Mike Carrell and Rep. Steve O’Ban will host an hour-long, district-wide telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. Constituents who do not receive an automated call are invited to call in to ask questions and listen to other residents’ concerns around the 28th Legislative District.

 

To participate, constituents should call the toll-free number 1-877-229-8493 and, when prompted, enter PIN number 15388. Once on the call, participants can press star-3 (*3) on their telephone keypads and staff members will assist callers with asking their question live.

 

“These teleforums are a convenient, cost-effective way for our district residents to get involved in state government,” said Carrell, R-Lakewood. “I always look forward to having these community conversations and I hope everyone can join in and provide us with their thoughts and comments.”

 

O’Ban was elected to serve his first term last November.

 

“I’m looking forward to connecting with my neighbors around the district. We have a diverse community, but as I met people at their doors, a common theme was the Legislature needed to focus on policies that encourage private employers to create jobs so families can get back on their feet,” said O’Ban, R-Pierce County. “Listening to solutions and concerns of constituents is the best way to ensure I am representing the residents in the Twenty-eighth District to the best of my ability.”
