Date Recorded: Feb. 12, 2013
Run Time: 73 seconds
SUGGESTED LEAD: Lawmakers in the 14th District are completing their first month of a scheduled 105-day session and they want to hear from you. So tonight they are holding a town hall meeting in your home. John Sattgast reports from Olympia.
Sattgast: You won’t have to worry about everyone coming to your home tonight. Instead, Representatives Norm Johnson and Charles Ross are inviting you to pick up the phone from the comfort of your home and call them at 6:30 tonight. You’ll be connected to a community conversation with people from throughout the 14th District. Republican Representative Norm Johnson says. . .

Johnson: “Since our district has quadrupled in size, it’s impossible to do town hall meetings in all the communities that we now serve. By doing telephone town hall meetings, it’s much easier for us to reach the citizens, and for the citizens in turn to reach us.”
Sattgast: Representative Charles Ross of Naches says after spending a month in Olympia, it’s time to get some real world perspective.
