Thank you for visiting my Web site! It’s an honor to return as your state representative.

Our state is facing enormous challenges fiscally and economically. Voters spoke loud and clear that they cannot afford increased taxes; government must provide services with the hard-earned taxpayer dollars it is already receiving.

Besides appropriating tax dollars for state services, one of the greatest functions of state government is public safety. We must ensure we have strong protections for our families and communities, and serious penalties for those who repeatedly drive drunk or abuse children.

As a small employer, I have experienced firsthand how difficult it is to succeed in Washington state. There are still too many regulations holding back our job creators. I’ll be supporting policies that force state government to work for employers, rather than the other way around. We need to get the thousands of unemployed people back to work.
