We have many challenges before us in the Legislature as we work to preserve and improve our state's quality of life. As a lifelong Whatcom County resident, I am very familiar with the issues our neighbors face daily.

Among my many priorities as your state representative; address our unsustainable budget, focus on job creation and education, create a much more transparent government, and support and strengthen local businesses and farms. As our state faces budget challenges, I believe it is especially important to preserve services for our state's most vulnerable population and protect taxpayers.
