It is a great honor to serve you alongside Sen. Mark Schoesler and Rep. Joe Schmick. Together, we make up the 9th District legislative team. I am committed to being a lawmaker you can be proud of and one you can trust.

The struggling economy and the budget crisis are the top issues facing our state, but I believe if we focus on the priorities of government, we can solve any challenges in front of us. I am glad to have the opportunity to work on your behalf to address these serious times.

I continue to believe that getting Washington working again is the only way to ensure stable tax collections and help Washingtonians prosper. Attracting new employers is a vital element to turning our economy around. It is also critical lawmakers protect existing employers and the family-wage jobs they provide. Finally, crafting a sustainable state budget within current revenues, and without raising taxes and fees is critical to creating certainty for taxpayers.
