Thank you for visiting my Web page. I appreciate your interest in our citizen Legislature.

Many individuals, families and small businesses are struggling in these tough times. In order to solve the problems facing our communities, we need solution-oriented leadership. I bring to Olympia a principled perspective and a willingness to work with anyone who wants to make the 42nd District and Washington state a better place to live, work and do business.

My focus is on truly reforming state government, enacting a no-new-taxes, sustainable state budget, and allowing the marketplace to strengthen our economy through innovation and creativity.

While the issues of job creation and state spending are front and center, state lawmakers must also find ways to restore local control in education, prioritize public safety, reduce health care costs, and protect our most vulnerable who cannot care for themselves. These challenges require the Legislature to break from the status quo.
