We have some challenges in the Legislature this year, but with those come opportunities to do better for our state’s citizens. We must remain focused on the priorities of education, fiscal responsibility, taking care of our most vulnerable and putting people back to work.

 

I share your vision of a better Washington – we can have the best schools, a clean environment, a climate that allows businesses to grow and create jobs and a balanced budget. We do not have to choose which we want, but we must be smart about how we get there.
