Welcome to my legislative Web page. This is where you will find up-to-date information on legislation I am working on as well as all of my media outreach. My contact information is on this page and I would welcome hearing from you.

I encourage you to contact me with questions, ideas or comments on the issues that impact you. If you would like an in-person meeting during the legislative session, please call my office to schedule a date and time. A two-way dialog is key to being involved in the legislative process. Together we can make a difference and help state government do a better job of responding to your needs.

Our recent state operating budgets have been unsustainable. The Legislature needs to prioritize and decide what constitutes core services. I will remain focused on creating budgets that live within current tax collections and make it easier for employers to create jobs in Washington.

I believe private-sector job creation and retention is the solution to our state’s economic downturn and it is one of my top priorities. It is better to increase revenue through increased economic activity versus general tax increases which have consistently reduced economic growth and state revenues. Government should work in partnership with our state's employers -- not serve as an adversary. Other 12th District issues we need to focus on include other small business issues and over-regulation.

I am your voice in the Legislature to help curb government expansion into your life and increase opportunity and liberty across the state. My goal is to make sure that our region's citizens have a voice in making that happen.
