Dr. Manweller is currently a Professor of Political Science at Central Washington University where he teaches Political Economy, Constitutional Law and classes for the William O. Douglas Honors College. Prior to teaching at CWU, he was a high school economics, math and social studies teacher. Dr. Manweller is the author of several scholarly books and articles on tort reform, voting behavior, state court procedures, and constitutional law. Prior to running for office, Dr. Manweller was a regular columnist for the Daily Record and occasionally published articles for the Seattle Times, the Washington Times and other regional newspapers. He also produced and hosted several TV and radio shows such as “A Christian Viewpoint” on Christian Broadcasting of Yakima, “Point to Point” on CWU TV, and “The Right Opinion” on KXLE.
