Kevin Parker, representative for Spokane’s 6th District in the Washington State Legislature, owns a chain of coffee shops in Spokane. He also teaches in the Whitworth University and Gonzaga University MBA programs.
Kevin studied political science at Whitworth University, earned an MBA from George Fox University and studied leadership at Harvard University. In 2013, he returned to Harvard's Kennedy School of Government as an Alum in Residence and a facilitator in the Executive Leadership Program. Kevin was also selected as a Rodel Fellow by the Aspen Institute.
Recognized as one of the most influential people in the Spokane region, Kevin was awarded Citizen of the Year 2013 by the Spokane Realtors. As a respected entrepreneur, he has won awards for leadership and business, and has had the honor of speaking at numerous public events.
Kevin is currently serving on several community boards, including Generation Alive (San Francisco Giant's pitcher Jeremy Affeldt's organization), Red Cross and Northwest Christian Schools.
Kevin lives in Spokane with his wife, Kerry, and children Emelia, Eve and Ross.
