Government City, Washington - Population 3,800
A city of new state government employees

     The House Democrat 2007-09 budget would add 3,800 new state government employees. That's equivalent to the entire population of Wahkiakum County and just 30 people less than the city of Yelm.

     This new "city" of state government employees created in the House Democrat budget is larger than the individual populations of 153 incorporated cities throughout Washington. It's also larger than the population of 17 county seats in Washington.
