The 2013 regular session adjourned April 28. A special session began May 13 - budget writers and caucus leadership are negotiating an agreement before other members are called back to Olympia to vote on a final budget.

My priorities are: positioning the state for continued economic growth, encouraging water storage for our communities, and continuing what we started with crucial public safety laws.
We also need more health care options, so that important medical decisions are made between you and your doctor. One of these options is allowing you to take your insurance with you from one job to another. More choices create more competition and lower prices for you.
