It is a great honor to serve you alongside Sen. Mark Schoesler and Rep. Joe Schmick. Together, we make up the 9th District legislative team. I am committed to being a lawmaker you can be proud of and one you can trust.

While our economy is still recovering, I believe if the Legislature focuses on the priorities of government, we can solve the challenges of today and tomorrow.  The Legislature must create an economic climate that encourages private-sector job creation and retention. Getting Washington working again is the best way to ensure stable tax collections and help Washingtonians prosper.

Finally, it is critically important the Legislature pass sustainable state budgets that spend only what taxpayers send to Olympia. Increasing the tax burden on struggling citizens and employers should not be an option when balancing the budget.
