Welcome! Thank you for visiting my Web site. It’s an honor and privilege to represent the 30th District. I hope you find information here that is useful and encourages you to communicate with me on your priorities, ideas for reform and any concerns you have about how your government is working for you.

As someone who has raised a family and worked in our district since 1972, I have seen firsthand how our district has grown and changed. I am proud of how far we have come and I am committed to making our future even better.
In the last 15 years, I have had the opportunity to serve as mayor, deputy mayor, and city council member of Federal Way. While holding city government positions, I was able to make great strides to increase services, recreation facilities, fix transportation issues and develop the quality of life in our communities. I bring that same dedication with me as your state representative.
We face some tough decisions in Olympia, and I know government cannot be all things to all people, but it can and should be prioritized in a way that fits the standards of our communities. I am here to represent you and I will remain focused on the issues you told me are important: jobs, improving education, transportation and public safety.
My door is always open and I welcome your calls, e-mails and letters. My office is staffed Monday through Friday.
Thank you, again, for allowing me to serve you.
Linda Kochmar, State Representative
30th District
(R- Federal Way)

The 2013 regular session adjourned April 28. A special session began May 13 - budget writers and caucus leadership are negotiating an agreement before other members are called back to Olympia to vote on a final budget.
