LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES:
Budget
Making sure that Washington state has a responsible and sustainable budget.  We need to control the expansion of government programs in order to protect our most vulnerable populations that we have a moral and ethical responsibility to help.  We have a safety net full of holes because it is being stretched too far.  We can be all things to all people.

Helping our state's children and families
Respecting and preserving the dignity of life, especially of those who are vulnerable, such as the unborn and elderly.

Bringing true health care reform
Healthcare reform that is affordable and accessible to all Washingtonians.  Reform that the patient controls not the government.

Jobs
Preserving and creating jobs by improving state’s climate for employers.
Streamlining environmental regulations to improve efficiency without compromising standards.
Environmental responsibility driven by science and not ideology, for a sustainable future and a healthy economy.
